Our client was a medical device manufacturer who provided products to various hospitals in the North Texas area to be used in surgical procedures. Some of the facilities which received the medical devices did not timely pay the invoices. Our client made multiple attempts to communicate with the facilities in an attempt to persuade the facilities to comply with the terms of the original agreement and the facilities’ promise to pay. No payments were made after several months. In some of the cases, the hospitals actually received payments from 3rd parties for the devices and still refused to pay our client. Within a couple days of being hired, we filed lawsuits against the facilities and received a 100% recovery without the necessity of a trial.
